Two use cases have been implemented by our customers in relation to water: Water Quality and Water Level.

Water Level

Many local councils have installed water level sensors under bridges or other facilities to measure the level of creeks and rivers. Information is then used to send notifications to residents or local businesses that are at risk of being flooded. Information is also made available to other organisations such as the State Emergency Services.

Water Quality

A range of factors, including urban development, may impact water quality which is an area of concern for local residents. A number of local councils have deployed Water Quality sensors, particularly in area difficult to access for manual data sampling, and displaying data in publicly available dashboards to monitor in real time water quality as well as informing local residents.
